Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade Mr G.Glass did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Flying Hareeba and Mahjong Heat were slow to begin. Kouta Mayhem crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Rumbling Bajooks, Rivenlee Lad and Silver Trident. Vintage Millane raced wide approaching the first turn. Patchie Thief, Silver Trident and Vintage Millane collided on the first turn. Vintage Millane and Patchie Thief collided approaching the home turn checking Vintage Millane and Rumbling Bajooks and severely checking Flying Hareeba and Patchie Thief. Mahjong Heat galloped on the heels of Silver Trident on the home turn.
Patchie Thief was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained superficial abrasions down its left back leg. No stand down period was imposed.
