This event was rescheduled to 2:14pm due to the delay of race seven.
Major Nippa, Pawesome Boss and Lido's Boy were slow to begin.
Amlin Prince and Sudoku Baby collided soon after the start. Major Nippa, Pawesome Boss and Mix Off Harmony collided soon after the start. Pawesome Boss, Mix Off Harmony and Betty La Fae collided soon after the start. Amlin Prince and Sudoku Baby collided at the 300m mark. Lido's Boy raced wide at the 250m mark and collided with Mix Off Harmony, causing Lido's Boy to fall, and Pawesome Boss and Mix Off Harmony to collide. Amlin Prince, Pawesome Boss and Mix Off Harmony collided approaching the winning post.
Lido's Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the right eye region and right hind foot, and an injury to the left hamstring. A seven-day stand down period was imposed.
