Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Monaghan, the trainer of Darley Dollar regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Darley Dollar last raced on 28th December 2016. Mr. Monaghan stated that the greyhound was returning from being seasonal.
Little Sidey and Boof's Banjo were slow to begin. Crazy Eye Jye and Babs Streishound collided soon after the start. Babs Streishound, Missy Marlus and Boof's Banjo collided approaching the first turn. Boof's Banjo, Babs Streishound, Missy Marlus, Little Sidey and Darley Dollar collided approaching the first turn. Babs Streishound, Little Sidey and Missy Marlus collided on the first turn checking Little Sidey. Money Dud and Crazy Eye Jye collided approaching the home turn. Little Sidey raced wide entering the home straight. Crazy Eye Jye and Darley Dollar collided in the home straight.
Little Sidey was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hind toes. No stand down period was imposed.
