Steward's Report
The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Lebron Slam and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 6.35 pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Ms K Collyer was fined the sum of $100.
A pre-race sample was taken from Bevvies Bullet.
Brienne was quick to begin. Sam's General and Mahlo Blackhawk were slow to begin. Maximum Tess checked off Sam's General on the first turn. Bevvies Bullet checked off Cruisy's Lil on the home turn, checking Mahlo Blackhawk. Chabay Laray and Bevvies Bullet collided entering the home straight, checking both greyhounds. Sam's General checked off Mahlo Blackhawk in the home straight.
