Steward's Report
Oimby Allen, Full Of Hope and Severus Grange were slow to begin. Delta Bad Hand, Mahlo Hero and Roaring Rampage collided soon after the start. Oimby Allen, Severus Grange and Full Of Hope collided soon after the start. Mahjong Princess crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Frisco Liz. Roaring Rampage and Oimby Allen collided on the first turn, checking Oimby Allen. Mahlo Hero and Oimby Allen collided on the first turn, checking Oimby Allen. Full Of Hope crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Frisco Liz. Delta Bad Hand checked off Mahjong Princess on the home turn. Full Of Hope failed to pursue the lure with due commitment in the home straight, checking Delta Bad Hand.
Stewards spoke to Mr G Paull, the trainer of the greyhound Full Of Hope, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Full Of Hope was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to a right hindleg quadricep, a seven day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the Stewards charged Full Of Hope with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Paull pleaded guilty to the charge, Full Of Hope was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
