Albo Gold, Sir Russ and Bet Bet May collided soon after the start. Fun Time Ally, Rusty Mahogany, Bet Bet May, Uncle Mumbles, Albo Gold and Razor Hawk collided on the first turn checking Bet Bet May and severely checking Fun Time Ally. Bet Bet May galloped on the heels of Rusty Mahogany approaching the home turn. Fun Time Ally raced wide entering the home straight.
Fun Time Ally was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
