Say Again was slow to begin.
Miss Harmony and Doona Bale collided soon after the start checking Doona Bale. Say Again checked off Doona Bale approaching the first turn. Sahara and Illusive Allen collided approaching the home turn. Miss Harmony and Doona Bale collided in the home straight. Doona Bale eased in the home straight and again approaching the winning post checking Miss Harmony.
Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Coulson the handler of the greyhound Doona Bale. Doona Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(5) the stewards charged Donna Bale with failing to persue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(6), before any future nomination will be accepted.
