Steward's Report
Rusty Mia and Kiyoshi were quick to begin. Diamond Maxine was slow to begin. No Road and Rusty Mia collided approaching the first turn, checking No Road. Angry Alley, Miz Josie and Diamond Maxine collided on the first turn, checking Miz Josie. Rock Me Baby, Buckle Up Todd and Angry Alley collided on the first turn, checking Angry Alley and severely checking Rock Me Baby which tailed off; Buckle Up Todd fell as a result. Diamond Maxine checked off Kiyoshi approaching the home turn. Diamond Maxine raced wide entering the home straight.
Buckle Up Todd was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right gracillis (back) muscle. A five-day stand down period was imposed.
Rock Me Baby was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the right hind and an abrasion to the left calf. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.
