Sisco Sizzle and Destini Baritone colilded on the first turn, checking Destini Baritone which fell as a result.  Merl's Angel raced wide on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr D. Brennan, the trainer of Erica Mckenna regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Erica Mckenna last raced on 10 December 2016.Mr Brennan stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being seasonal.

Mr M.Cauchi, trainer of Enjoy Cruising declared a new weight of 32.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Enjoy Cruising last raced at 33.9kg.

Allen Varmint was a late scratching at 5.43pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a laceration to the right hind pad. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Jesterday was slow to begin.  Shades Of Sassy and Cosmic Act collided soon after the start.  Allen Impose checked off Lektra Blicavs approaching the first turn.  Lektra Blicavs, Cosmic Act, Magic Reindeer and Lektra Hutch collided on the first turn, checking Magic Reindeer.  Lektra Blicavs and Cosmic Act collided approaching the home turn, checking Allen Impose.  Jesterday, Magic Reindeer and Lektra Blicavs collided approaching the home turn.  Jesterday and Magic Reindeer collided several times in the home straight.  Shades Of Sassy and Lektra Hutch collided aprpoaching the winning post.
