Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Good, the trainer of Tonk's Treasure regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Tonk's Treasure last raced on 12th Dec 2016. Mr. D. Good stated that the greyhound was resuming to racing following an injury to the greyhounds back left toe. Mr. D. Good, trainer of Tonk's Treasure declared a new weight of 28.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Tonk's Treasure last raced at 30.0kg.

Just Crystal was a late scratching at 9.03am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a left front foot laceration. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Gin Lee's Pearl was slow to begin. Mat's Road and Tonk's Treasure collided several times approaching the first turn. Tonk's Treasure and Gin Lee's Pearl collided on the first turn. Mat's Road and Gin Lee's Pearl collided approaching the home turn checking Gin Lee's Pearl. Mat's Road and Moonrider collided in the home straight. Mat's Road and Tonk's Treasure collided in the home straight.

It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right deltoid, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) stewards charged Mat's Road with failling to pusure the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Dillon pleaded guilty to the charge. Mat's Road was was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satistactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before future nominations be accepted.

Gin Lee's Bullet was slow to begin. Stitch Gun Miss and Watch Me Wyn collided approaching the first turn. Watch Me Wyn clipped the heels of Stitch Gun Miss on the first turn and lost ground as a result . Watch Me Wyn checked off Dunnstown Kev in the home straight.

Watch Me Wyn was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right monkey muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Dunnstown Kev was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hind leg, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Ms D. White, trainer of Jai Jai Away declared a new weight of 29.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Jai Jai Away last raced at 28.1kg.

Vintage Storm was very slow to begin (3L).  Belena Bold and Jai Jai Away collided soon after the start. Lord Flash Heart checked off Peppertree Jack on the first turn. Peppertree Jack and Lord Flash Heart collided on the home turn checking Peppertree Jack. Lord Flash Heart raced wide in the home straight

Peppertree Jack was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left quadricep, a 10 day stand down period was imposed..

Miss Springer was slow to begin. Spa Squirtle and Nitrolicious collided soon after the start, checking Nitrolicious. Outlaw Bruce clipped the heels of Nitrolicious on the home turn. Nitrolicious and Dashing Blake collided on the home turn checking Nitrolicious. Miss Springer and Dashing Blake collided on the home turn checking Miss Springer.

Dashing Blake was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stormy Chanel was very slow to begin (4L). Crymelon Hewie and Ultra Sharky collided approaching the first turn checking Crymelon Hewie. Boston Light and Emma's Sparrow collided approaching the home turn. Emma's Sparrow checked off Boston Light in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Goodwin, the trainer of Strength To Wyn regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Strength To Wyn last raced on 11th Nov 2016. Mr. K. Goodwin stated that the greyhound was resuming to racing following a tonsil removal.

Ah Sugar Sugar was quick to begin. Mr. Wales was slow to begin. Mr. Wales and Mia Crazy collided on the first turn checking Mr. Wales. Mia Crazy checked off Like Lily approaching the home turn. Mia Crazy and Mr. Wales collided on the home turn severely checking both greyhounds.

Captain Marvel was slow to begin (3L).
