Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Ward, the trainer of Soxy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Soxy last raced on 10th January, 2017.  Mr. Ward stated that Soxy was returning to race aftering suffering a left back muscle injury.  Mr. Ward also declared a new weight of 30.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Soxy last raced at 31.5kgs.
