Bolare was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Bolare became dislodged during the running of the event.

Dr. Marshmellow was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left hamstring and back and spike wounds to the left and right hind toes, a stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Rosso and Buca Doll were slow to begin. Full Of Charm was very slow to begin (3L). Exford Lumpy was very slow to begin (3.5L). Riverdale Sugar and Bronelly Duke collided soon after the start. Rosso and Buca Doll collided soon after the start. Awesome Freckles, Bronelly Duke and Riverdale Sugar collided approaching the first turn checking Awesome Freckles. Bronelly Duke was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left metacarpal. A stand down period of 21 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A Wood, the trainer of the greyhound Bronelly Duke regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Bronelly Duke with marring. Mr. Wood pleaded not guilty to the charge, Bronelly Duke was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
