Steward's Report
El Grand Amigo was a late scratching at 6.36 PM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an abraded pad. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Repelo Muggletum and Pantera Nera were quick to begin. Jack Walker, Matt Machine, Bear's Gold and Pippy Dippy collided soon after the start checking Jack Walker, Matt Machine and Bear's Gold. Bear's Gold and Repelo Muggletum collided approaching the first turn. Jack Walker checked off Bear's Gold on the first turn. Bear's Gold checked off Pippy Dippy on the first turn checking Black Sky Riot and Repelo Muggletum and severely checking Jack Walker which fell as a result. Repelo Muggletum checked off Bear's Gold on the home turn.
Jack Walker was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right triangle muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
