Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms. T. Womann, kennel representative of Picture's Pearce regarding the length of time the greyhound had between races. Picture's Pearce last raced on 20th January, 2017. Ms. Womann stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a dislocated toe.
A pre-race sample was taken from Pictures Pearce upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Bad Hombre was slow to begin. Pictures Pearce and Lochinvar Kors collided soon after the start, checking Pictures Pearce. Lochinvar Kors and Spring To Wyn collided approaching the first turn, checking Lochinvar Kors. He's Loaded and Spring To Wyn collided on the first turn, checking Spring To Wyn. Lochinvar Kors checked off He's Loaded approaching the home turn. He's Loaded and Hit The Runway collided approaching the home turn, checking He's Loaded. Lochinvar Kors and Spring To Wyn collided in the home straight, checking both greyhounds.
Lochinvar Kors was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn toenail on the right foreleg, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
