Steward's Report
Brandeen Fi and Pistol were slow to begin. He's A Freebie and New Lass collided soon after the start. Paddy's Pudding and Kouta Excuses collided soon after the start. Pistol, He's A Freebie and Paddy's Pudding collided approaching the first turn checking He's A Freebie and Paddy's Pudding, Paddy's Pudding lost considerable ground. He's A Freebie and Slick Assassian collided on the first turn checking He's A Freebie. Brandeen Fi and He's A Freebie collided approaching the home turn. Paddy's Pudding eased approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Churchill the trainer of Paddy's Pudding regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Paddy's Pudding was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right shoulder muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) the Stewards charged Paddy's Pudding with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury. Mr. Churchill pleaded guilty to the charge, Paddy's Pudding was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
