Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Rusty Towbar.
Parisian Magic was quick to begin.
Rusty Towbar, Myrniong Bomb and Rapana were slow to begin. Vanderville and Parisian Magic collided approaching the first turn. Brazen Bull and Myrniong Bomb collided approaching the first turn, and again on the first turn.
Vanderville was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right long head triceps (monkey) muscle. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms Lori Courts, handler of Brazen Bull, to remind her of her responsibilities in relation to the GRV dress code (LRR22.3). Stewards also issued Ms Courts with a severe reprimand in relation to her conduct toward stewards during the inquiry relating to the dress code (GAR86q).
