Why Not Logan was a late scratching at 5.47pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr G. Carter was fined the sum of $100.
A pre-race sample was taken from She's Dee Rocket.
Better Beware, Nitronium and Wisen Up collided soon after the start. Better Beware, Nitronium, Wisen Up and Really Magic collided approaching the first turn checking Better Beware, Nitronium and severely checking Wisen Up which fell. Better Beware checked off Really Magic on the first turn. Better Beware raced wide in the home straight.
Wisen Up was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left fractured toe, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
