Lektra Peck was quick to begin.
Freakish Flash checked off Warbo on the first turn. Freakish Flash faltered approaching the home turn and tailed off as a result. Steaky Walker and Riverdale Banjo collided on the home turn, checking Steady Walker. Warbo and Curnow collided entering the home straight, checking Curnow.
Freakish Flash was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a dislocated toe, split webbing and a phalangeal (toe) fracture all on the left fore. A 14-day stand down period was imposed.
