Stewards spoke to C. McLennan, the trainer of Dynamic Sam regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Dynamic Sam last raced on 24th October, 2015.  Mr. McLennan stated that  the greyhound had an injury to the right metacarpal.

M. Malla-Magri, handler of Flame Bale declared a new weight of 29.1kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Flame Bale last raced at 27.6kgs.

Contemplate was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left biceps. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
