Polijuice Potion was slow to begin. Sisco Rage crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Moreira and Xtreme Knocka. Xtreme Knocka checked off Sisco Rage on the first turn checking Cosmic Owl. Xtreme Knocka and Polijuice Potion collided approaching the third turn. Xtreme Knocka galloped on the heels of Polijuice Potion entering the back straight severely checking Polijuice Potion. Xtreme Knocka and Lithgow Panther collided on the fourth turn checking Lithgow Panther.
Polijuice Potion was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right wrist. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Samples were taken from the first three placegetters in this event - Dyna Double One (1st), Moreira (2nd) and Sisco Rage (3rd).
