Spanky's Legacy was slow to begin. Penelopes Cruzn went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Fizzy Bale crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Spanky's Legacy. Brilliant Shot crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Houston Bale and Coolan Boy. Penelopes Cruzn, Noosa Jet, Young Henry, Houston Bale and Coolan Boy collided on the second turn checking Houston Bale. Spanky's Legacy and Fizzy Bale collided on the second turn. Penelopes Cruzn and Noosa Jet collided on the second turn checking Young Henry, Houston Bale, Spanky's Legacy and Fizzy Bale. Noosa Jet and Coolan Boy collided approaching the third turn.
