Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms. S. Corrigan the trainer of My Guardman regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. My Guardman last raced on 27/11/16. Ms. Corrigan stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right archillies injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Flywheel Magic and My Guardman.
Choclotto and San Pablo collided approaching the first turn checking Choclotto. Flywheel Magic was checked off Kokomo Beach on the first turn causing Flywheel Magic and My Gurardman to collide. San Pablo and Slick Diamond collided several times on the home turn. My Guardman raced wide in the home straight. Slick Diamond was checked San Pablo approaching the winning post.
Meeting comments:-
Following confirmed phone calls from trainers Mr. T. Frater and Mr. G. Schofield Stewards kept the kennels open for an additional 10 minutes until 6.20pm to allow the trainers time to arrive on course.
