Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. T. O'Neill, the handler of Mary's Intention regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Mary's Intention last raced on 1st January, 2017. Mr. O'Neill stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left fibula injury.
Ronnie's Flyer and Mary's Intention were quick to begin. Heard A Rumour and Rasleigh Banser were slow to begin. Elite Eliana crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Zipping Nat and Mysterious Lenny. Mysterious Lenny checked off Zipping Nat on the first turn. Heard A Rumour galloped on Mary's Intention on the first turn checking Mary's Intention severely checking Heard A Rumour which stumbled. Heard A Rumour and Rasleigh Banser collided on the first turn severely checking Heard A Rumour which stumbled. Zipping Nat and Mary's Intention collided several times approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking both greyhounds; Zipping Nat stumbled as a result.
Zipping Nat was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
