Stewards spoke to Mrs L.Hall, the trainer of You Bug Me regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  You Bug Me last raced on 7th October, 2017. Mrs Hall stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being seasonal.

Lorian Victory was slow to begin. Sixty Three and Paperback Writer collided soon after the start. Lorian Victory checked off Sixty Three approaching the first turn. Master Mcevoy galloped on the heels of Osanna approaching the second turn, checking Osanna. Master Mcevoy and Free Auto collided as a result. Lorian Victory and Master Mcevoy collided on the second turn, checking both greyhounds. Sixty Three checked off Free Auto in the back straight. Master Mcevoy checked off Lorian Victory on the third turn.

From The Dark was slow to begin. Blackpool Shaz, What’s In Store and Exs And Ohs collided soon after the start and again on the first turn, checking What’s In Store. Heracles and From The Dark collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Moonlit Eyes raced wide in the front straight.

Bewildering and Fugitive Bale were slow to begin. Shore's Girl, Sly Shiraz and Popowski collided approaching the first turn, checking Shore's Girl. Bewildering checked off Popowski on the first turn and collided with Some Kinda Girl. Some Kinda Girl and Bewildering collided on the second turn, checking Some Kinda Girl. Popowski, Fugitive Bale and Bewildering collided approaching the third turn. Popowski raced wide on the home turn.

Some Kinda Girl, which trailed the field throughout, was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Star Fever, Alcyone and Destini Dolphin collided approaching the first turn. Star Fever and Fool Proof collided on the first turn. Star Fever checked off Trouper in the front straight. Trouper checked off Alcyone on the second turn, checking Urana Vee Eight and Fool Proof. Destini Dolphin, Three Scoops and Miss Lava collided approaching the home turn, checking Destini Dolphin and Three Scoops.

Charly Shu Shine checked off Elusive Pearl on the second turn. Rosie's Gift checked off Elusive Pearl on the third turn. 

Molly Chapta was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Taking Flight was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right deltoid muscle, a seven day stand down period was imposed. 

This race was rescheduled to start at 5:35PM.

Duff Bale was quick to begin. Barney Bubble and Lachlan's Rough collided soon after the start. Johnny Scull and Gabonia collided soon after the start, checking Gabonia. Duff Bale, Barney Bubble and Lachlan's Rough collided on the first turn, checking Barney Bubble. Johnny Scull checked off Lachlan's Rough approaching the second turn. Johnny Scull and Gabonia collided entering the back straight, checking Gabonia and severely checking Johnny Scull which tailed off. 

Johnny Scull was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a twenty-one day stand down period was imposed.
