Spring Bomber was a late scratching at6.30pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a respiratory illness. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dr. Frankie eased and collided with Calander Boy approaching the home turn.  So Fine and Vivian Shiraz collided on the home turn.  So Fine, Bucky Barnes and Vivian Shiraz collided on the home turn.  Arapaho Joe and Dr. Frankie collided approaching g the winning post.

Dr. Frankie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right deltoid injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms J. Gill, the representative of the greyhound Dr. Frankie regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Dr. Frankie with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms Gill pleaded guilty to the charge, Dr. Frankie was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mademoiselle Sox and Gunnewin were quick to begin.  Leopardstown was slow to begin.

Zipping Zeus and Mick's Angel collided soon after the start.  Brolly Bale and Allen Lottery collided on the first turn.  Brolly Bale and Gunnewin collided in the front straight.  Leopardstown and Spirited Rose collided on the fifth turn.
