Lido's Boy was slow to begin. Dark Avenger and Choclotto collided approaching the first turn checking Dark Avenger. No Road and Chocolotto collided approaching the first turn checking Choclotto. Uncool Albert and Choclotto collided approaching the first turn. Fallen Star and Lido's Boy collided on the first turn severely checking Fallen Star and causing No Road to check off Fallen Star; No Road and Uncool Albert were severely checked as a result. Fallen Star raced wide in the home straight.
