Almani Elite checked off Lucky Chap approaching the first turn. Lucky Chap and Deadline To Meet collided on the first turn checking Deadline To Meet. Cosmic Act, Raw Ability and Tiggerlong Nosey collided approaching the home turn checking Tiggerlong Nosey and Raw Ability. Deadline To Meet, Raw Ability and Almani Elite collided approaching the home turn checking Raw Ability and Almani Elite, both raced wide as a result. Dimitri Bale and Deadline To Meet collided entering the home straight. Tiggerlong Nosey and Lucky Chap collided in the home straight. Lucky Chap, Tiggerlong Nosey, Deadline To Meet and Dimitri Bale collided approaching the winning post.

Hold On Belena was slow to begin.

Hold On Belena checked off Solar Mocha soon after the start. Allen Ichiro checked off Solar Mocha approaching the home turn. Zipping Kirby and Allen Ichiro collided entering the home straight. Allen Ichiro failed to pursue the lure with due committment in the home straight and collided with Solar Mocha. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. G Dailly, the handler of the greyhound Allen Ichiro regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Allen Ichiro was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to a left hind toe, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Allen Ichiro with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr G Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Allen Ichiro was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Aston Viva was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an right foreleg triceps injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Baron Charlie checked off Nitro Swagger approaching the first turn. Tricky Tron and Nitro Swagger collided on the first trun checking Tricky Tron and Thanks Cheryl. Lass Bale checked off Seabrook Oscar entering the home straight checking Thanks Cheryl. Nitro Swagger checked off Jimmy Vella in the home straight.
