This race was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to insufficient time in between races and a misunderstanding between the handler of Handpass Mr. S. Coulson and an attendant that he engaged to prepare the greyhound Handpass for this event, Stewards took no further action regarding this matter.
Handpass, How Good She and My Lilly were slow to begin. How Good She checked off My Lilly soon after the start. Handpass checked off Skidlisha approaching the first turn. Liscoyle Lady checked off Ginza Lion on the first turn. Skidlisha contacted the running rail approaching the home turn checking Skidlisha and How Good She.
