Zipping Jake was a late scratching at 5.13pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to laceration to the right hind perianal region. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Popowski was re-vetted prior to the running of this event after concerns were raised by the greyhound's trainer at kennelling.  Popowski was passed fit to race.

Caro's Arrow went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Dundee Kestrel was slow to begin.  Popowski was quick to begin.  Miranlou and Jayce's Choice collided approaching the first turn, checking Miranlou.  Joyce's Choice and Krinon Brae collided approaching the first turn, checking Joyce's Choice.  Joyce's Choice brussed the running rail on the first turn.  Dundee Tango and Dundee Kestrel raced wide on the first turn.  Dundee Tango and Dundee Kestrel collided on the third turn, checking Dundee Kestrel.

Stewards noted that the muzzle on Caro's Arrow became dislodged during the running of this event.

First Target was quick to begin.  Propensity and Bills Reflection were slow to begin.  Deep Court and Zipping Moss collided soon after the start, checking Deep Court.  He Shall Peter and Mini Dozer collided approaching the first turn, checking He Shall Peter, causing Mini Dozer to fall.  First Target and Zipping Moss collided on the first turn, checking First Target.  Propensity checked off Mendacious Lad on the first turn.

He Shall Peter was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right foreleg, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Mini Dozer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left wrist, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Perceptive and Mister Heeney were quick to begin.  Dr. Watson, Adherent and Fool Proof were slow to begin.  Purple Hand and Adherent collided approaching the first turn, checking Purple Hand and Dr. Watson.  Rapid Intention checked off Mister Heeney on the first turn and raced wide, checking Adherent which raced wide as a result.  Rapid Intention and Adherent collided approaching the second turn, checking Adherent.  Purple Hand checked off Fool Proof in the back straight and raced wide.  Adherent checked off Purple Hand on the third turn.  Dr. Watson and Adherent collided approaching the winning post.

Van Damm and Angelic Hand were quick to begin.  Surefire and ZIpping Luna were slow to begin.  Dr. Frankie and Surefire collided approaching the first turn, checking Dr. Frankie.  Angelic Hand, Orataya and Surefire collided on the first turn, checking Angelic Hand and Orataya.  Boda Boda and Van Damm collided on the first turn, checking Van Damm.  Orataya and Dr. Frankie raced wide on the first turn.  Angelic Hand and Dr. Frankie collided on the home turn.  Boda Boda and Zipping Luna collided entering the home straight.

Dewana Special and Dr. Compulsion were quick to begin.  Boozetown Hound and Diegonator were slow to begin.  Why Not Barrel and Mirror Reality collided approaching the first turn, checking Why Not Barrel.  Diegonator raced wide on the first turn.  Why Not Barrel and Boozetown Hound collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn, severely checking both greyhounds.

Kuta's Lad and Stocktake were quick to begin.  Bro Sam's Hook and Nat's Intention was slow to begin.  Aston Harvey and Dundee Calypso collided soon after the start, checking Aston Harvey and Bro Sam's Hook.  Bro Sam's Hook and Nat's Intention collided approaching the winning post.

The winning time for this event was a new track record of 40.730.

Races 9, 10 and 11 were put back one race due to issues with the on track lighting.  Race 12 was rescheduled to 10.22pm.

Dargo Dasha and Showtime Sally were quick to begin.  Delta Bad Hand and Jimmy Vella were slow to begin.  Custom Paint crossed to the rail on the first turn severely checking Dargo Dasha, checking Jimmy Vella and Slick Diamond as a result.  Star Desire and Custom Paint collided approaching the home turn.  Dargo Dasha and Slick Diamond collided on the home turn, checking Dargo Dasha.  Delta Bad Hand and Jimmy Vella collided approaching the winning post.
