Dublin Bull was a late scratching at 8:13 pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to diarrhoea and an elevated temperature.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

Nicky Dal was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hindleg back muscle injury, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Extreme Magic was quick to begin.  Still The One galloped on Zipping Lady on the first turn, checking Mepunga Fame.

Murrabit Yap was a late scratching at 3:53pm, Stewards permission.

Jimmy Vella was slow to begin.  Delta Bad Hand and Dani Bale collided soon after the start.  Classy Gun, Jimmy Vella and Dani Bale collided on the first turn, checking Jimmy Vella and Dani Bale.  Cyclone Charlie and Delta Bad Hand collided on the first turn, checking Delta Bad Hand, Zipping Moss, Classy Gun and Jimmy Vella, Cyclone Charlie fell as a result.  Classy Gun checked off Jimmy Vella on the home turn.

Cyclone Charlie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right humerus fracture, and was humanely euthanased

Mr S Ralph, trainer of Shanlyn Pippin, declared a new weight of 31.5kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Shanlyn Pippin last raced at 30.4kgs.

Mighty Sprite was slow to begin.  Roma Girl, Mighty Sprite and Angel Ice collided soon after the start, checking Mighty Sprite and Angel Ice.  Roma Girl and Le Sands collided approaching the first turn.  Shanlyn Pippin, Le Sands and Silverdust collided on the first turn, checking Le Sands and Silverdust.  Roma Girl and Le Sands collided on the home turn, checking Roma Girl, Le Sands and Angel Ice.

Tinny Time was a late scratching at 10:18am, due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Rebel Lady was slow to begin.  Enchanted Lass and Bob's Gift collided soon after the start, checking Enchanted Lass and Squirto.  Squirto and Bob's Gift collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.
