Stewards spoke to Mr J.Elleman after the greyhound Roller Bale was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Mr Elleman was issued with a warning and reminded when kennelling he ensures greyhounds are kennelled in accordance with kennel procedure. 

Stewards spoke to kennel attendant, Mr D.Maye after the greyhound Roller Bale was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Mr Maye was reminded of  his responsibilities and asked to ensure that all greyhounds are correctly kennelled in future. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration.

Mepunga Ted was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr S. Elsum, Trainer of Mepunga Ted.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Mepunga Ted with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Elsum pleaded guilty to the charge, Mepunga Ted was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
