Bane, River Hi and Kihael Canon collided soon after the start checking River Hi and Dyna Bernt. Bane checked off Kihael Canon on the first turn and faltered as a result checking Whammy, Spiral Staircase, River Hi and Dyna Bernt. Kihael Canon checked off King Of Spin approaching the home turn.
Bane which tailed off was vetted following the event.It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
