A pre-race sample was taken from Fabstar.
Argenta, Mr. Snackman and Oriental Lord were slow to begin. Argenta, Seabrook Snow and Fabstar collided approaching the first turn. Argenta checked off Seabrook Snow on the first turn. Fabstar and Sofa So Good collided on the first turn checking Sofa So Good. Argenta, Sofa So Good and Oriental Lord collided approaching the home turn checking Sofa So Good. Noonbarra Joe checked off Wez Gordy approaching the home turn. Fabstar and Seabrook Snow collided in the home straight checking Fabstar.
Fabstar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shooulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Mr. Snackman was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right shoulder and right thigh. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
