A pre-race sample was taken from Emily's Kitty.
Lektra Khan and Exit Zero collided soon after the start. Team Player and Snapper's Mate collided soon after the start checking Snapper's Mate which faltered and tailed off as a result. Shifty Jack and We're Off Here collided approaching the first turn checking We're Off Here. Emily's Kitty checked off Shifty Jack approaching the home turn.
Snapper's Mate was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right thigh. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
