A pre race sample was taken from Minter Dance upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Hot Patootie was quick to begin. Cowrie was slow to begin. Lakeview Harley, Spring Missile and Minter Dance collided soon after the start checking Spring Missile and Minter Dance. Minter Dance checked off Spring Missile on the first turn. Lakeview Harley and Tactical Miss collided on the first turn checking Tactical Miss and West On Teddy. Spring Missile checked off Cowrie on the first turn. Cowrie checked off West On Teddy approaching the home turn checking Spring Missile. Tactical Miss raced wide on the home turn.
Spring Missile was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to the right hind foot. No stand down period was imposed.
