Bourbski Fever was quick to begin.  Dublin Bull was slow to begin.  Crichton Bale and Margins collided approaching the first turn checking Margins and Bring Sexy Back.  Margins crossed to the outside on the first turn and collided with Bring Sexy Back severely checking both greyhounds.  Margins faltered in the back straight and subsequently pulled up. Bourbski Fever and Cut Loose Max collided entering the home straight checking Bourbski Fever.

Margins was vetted and after being re vetted following event 7, it was reported that the greyhound was found to have swelling of the front stopper tendon, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Bring Sexy Back was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Bourbski Fever was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to have blood in its urine, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Spring Missile was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to the right hind foot.  No stand down period was imposed.

Aston Bolero, Tiger Rance and Danyo's Slappy were quick to begin.  Master Sonny was slow to begin.  Danyo's Slappy crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Aston Bolero and Tiger Rance.  Highbury and Golden Hand collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Andiamo Neo checked off Precipitation approaching the home turn.  Andiamo Neo and Highbury collided on the home turn checking Highbury which raced wide severely checking Master Sonny which raced wide checking Golden Hand.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Mazzonetto regarding his failure to appear at the kennels to retrieve the greyhound Master Sonny for racing. Stewards charged Mr. Mazzonetto with a breach of GAR 46(2) in that he failed to appear at the kennels to retrieve Master Sonny for racing. Mr. Mazzonetto pleaded guilty to the charge, Mr. Mazzonetto was found guilty and fined the sum of $150.
