Da Goose was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained right shoulder soreness and left inner thigh soreness, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Puzzle Magic was quick to begin.  Lucky Andy and Eat My Shorts were slow to begin.

Girl Guide crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Darbain Dynasty.  Belron Frankie and Amlin Jewel collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Belron Frankie.  Darbain Dynasty checkd off Lucky Andy on the first turn.  Belron Frankie and Darbain Dynasty collided approaching the home turn checking Belron Frankie.  Lucky Andy and Darbain Dynasty collided on the home turn checking Lucky Andy.  Nzuri raced wide on the home turn.

Harsh Miles, Bud The Builder and Mr. Boucheau were slow to begin.  Belron Beale was very slow to begin 4 lengths.

Harsh Miles galloped on Summer Kate soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Wandering Vicky and Whittle Mikado collided approaching the first turn checking Wandering Vicky.  Wandering Vicky and Mr. Boucheau collided on the first turn checking Wandering Vicky.  Belron Beale and Mr. Boucheau collided approaching the home turn checking Belron Beale.  Arvo's Nico raced wide on the home turn. 

Wandering Vicky was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 6, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found but was found to be seasonal, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Sultana, the trainer of the greyhound Wandering Vicky. Stewards deemed the performance of Wandering Vicky unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, stewards directed that Wandering Vicky must perform a Satiusfactory Trail all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Belron Beale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained right shoulder muscle soreness and lumber soreness, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Kayla Las was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to the left hind lateral calf, no stand down period was imposed.

Kallara Gem was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind webbing laceration injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs T Jones the handler of Prue Jay regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Prue Jay last raced on 12 August, 2015, Mrs Jones stated the greyhound was returning from wrist surgery.

Mr J Brown, trainer of Bozumolu declared a new weight of 33.0 kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Bozumolu last raced at 31.3 kg.

Smashing Cans, Prue Jay and Arvo's Leroy were quick to begin.  Mohawk Mako and Girl About Town were slow to begin.

Bozumolu was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained right hock pain, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Mrs J Imlach trainer of Yelredda Flyer declared a new weight of 31.3 kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Yelredda Flyer  last raced at 30.0 kg

Tekki Skye crossed to the rail soon after the start severely checking Dusty's Girl and Try Me.  Yelredda Flyer crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Lil' Feisty.  Lil' Feisty and Tekki Skye collided on the first turn checking Lil' Feisty, Tekki Skye, Try Me and causing Dusty's Girl to race wide.  Just Wing checked off Joe Handson approaching the home turn.  Yelredda Flyer raced wide on the home turn.  Dusty's Girl raced wide in the home straight.

Ultimate Jet and Finny were slow to begin.

Futurist and Ultimate Jet collided on the first turn checking Ultimate Jet.  Betty La Fae raced wide on the home turn.
