Pepper Shannon was a late scratching at 3:43pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

All Inn Hunter was quick to begin.  Rumbling Bajooks and Long Story Short collided soon after the start.  All Inn Hunter, Bound After Gold, Long Story Short and Rumbling Bajooks collided on the first turn checking Long Story Short, checking Rumbling Bajooks which contacted the running rail as a result.  Rumbling Bajooks and Bound After Gold collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking Rumbling Bajooks.  Bound After Gold and All Inn Hunter collided in the home straight.

Rumbling Bajooks was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Piccolo Panther and Clovalley Mauri were quick to begin.  Jack Cherry was slow to begin.  Crook Me Kindly checked off Kraken Mazing soon after the start.  Clovalley Mauri and Crook Me Kindly collided approaching the first turn.  Senor Asher and Kraken Mazing collided on the first turn.  Jack Cherry, Better Value, Crook Me Kindly and Clovalley Mauri collided on the first turn checking Crook Me Kindly.  Piccolo Panther and Lena's Entity collided on the first turn.  Jack Cherry, Kraken Mazing and Better Value collided on the home turn checking Jack Cherry.  Better Value and Crook Me Kindly collided entering the home straight.  Jack Cherry and Kraken Mazing collided entering the home straight.

Senor Asher was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the right hind leg and an injury to the right toe, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Blue Reef was slow to begin.  Kimmy Cabang, Scarlett Lad and Sudoku Baby collided soon after the start.  Kimmy Cabang, Scarlett Lad, Sudoku Baby and Miss Popularity collided on the first turn checking Scarlett Lad, All Inn Houston and Kimmy Cabang.  Miss Popularity checked off Blue Reef entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Mr. G. Connell, trainer of Happy Tails declared a new weight of 33.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Happy Tails last raced at 32.6kg.
