Hello Bomber was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Chucky Thump was quick to begin.  All About Corey and Fabra Cadabra were slow to begin.  Boomer Hargen crossed in soon after the start checking Dukestar and Boomer Hargen.  Fabra Cadabra was checked off Boomer Hargen approaching the first turn.  Dukestar and Boomer Hargen collided on the first turn severely checking Boomer Hargen which fell as a result.  All About Corey was checked off Vivian Shiraz on the home turn.  Vivian Shiraz and Chucky Thump collided on the home turn.  Chucky Thump and Shaniqua collided in the home straight.  Chucky Thump marred Vivvian Shiraz twice in the home straight.  Fabra Cadabra raced wide in the home straight.

Boomer Hargen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left deltoid muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Chucky Thump was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.  

Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Majoor the trainer of the greyhound Chucky Thump regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Chucky Thump with marring.  Mr. Majoor pleaded guilty to the charge, Chucky Thump was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Acting on a confirmed phone call from trainer Mr. J. Olsen, Dee Mini Mouse was a late scratching at 4.45 pm due to illness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Loader was quick to begin.  My Mate Horse and Zed Merrett collided soon after the start checking My Mate Horse.  Loader was checked off Ellen's Stardust on the first turn checking Belisarius.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 5 minutes after Grand Cayman was injured in the processing of being boxed.  Grand Cayman was vetted at the boxes.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hind metatarsal and was not passed fit to race, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Freedom Fire was slow to begin.Trov's Gem and Tiger Rance collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Trov's Gem was checked off Tiger Rance on the first turn checking Trov's Gem and Freedom Fire.  Aston Sloan and Fearless Swan collided approaching the home turn checking Aston Sloan.  Freedom Fire and Trov's Gem collided approaching the home turn.  Hunter's Hero was checked off Aston Sloan on the home turn.

Catalan Flyer and Falcao were quick to begin.  Choclotto and Johnny Bandana were slow to begin.  Suzy Nitro, Falcao and Johnny Bandana collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Taree's Ruslie and Catalan Flyer collided on the first turn checking Catalan Flyer and Suzy Nitro.  Choclotto was checked off Catalan Flyer approaching the home turn checking Suzy Nitro and Choclotto.  Falcao and Choclotto collided on the home turn.  Tarree's Ruslie raced wide in the home straight.

Angel Ice was slow to begin.  Zahra Bella crossed in approaching the first turn checking Wild Angel and Rack Tap Rack.  Silver Salute and Dr. Gammiris collided on the first turn checking Dr. Gammiris.  Rack Tap Rack contacted the running rail approaching the home turn.  Silver Salute and Crown Princess raced wide in the home straight.
