A pre-race sample was taken from Macrory upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre-race sample was taken from Kid Audacious upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Rockstar Max was quick to begin and stumbled at box rise.
Where's Dex Star and Dr. Walter were slow to begin. Where's Dex Star and Dr. Walter collided soon after the start checking Dr. Walter. Macrory and Jack's Rainbow collided soon after the start and again on the first turn checking Macrory, Jack's Rainbow, Kid Audacious and Flying Cash. Where's Dex Star clipped the heels of Sturridge on the first turn checking Where's Dex Star which stumbled as a result. Kid Audacious and Flying Cash collided on the second turn checking Kid Audacious. Flying Cash checked off Where's Dex Star in the home straight.
Kid Audacious was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right deltoid injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
