Stewards spoke with trainer of Aladdin Prince Mr. S Kipirtidis and reminded Mr Kipirtidis that once he has boxed his greyhound he must remain behind the painted line.

Murrabit Betty was slow to begin.

Johnny Bandana checked off Zelemar Zing approaching the first turn.  Orange Blossom checked off Tills Henry approaching the first turn.  Gats Pacino checked off Tills Henry on the first turn checking Murrabit Betty.  Gats Pacino and Let's Go Billy collided in the home straight.

Challis Jack was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Kokoda Storm and Who's My Daddy collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Star Fever, Miata Gold and Always About Me collided on the first turn checking Always About Me and severely checking Miata Gold which fell as a result.

Miata Gold was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left shin soreness, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Sonic Pirate was quick to begin.  Boozetown Hound and Zipping Scarlet were slow to begin.

Coolan Boy and Turfman collided soon after the start.  Coolan Boy, Turfman, He's Ma Bro and Lopsided collided on the first turn checking He's Ma Bro which raced wide as a result, severely checking Turfman which fell and tailed off.

Turfman was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist, right calf injuries and spike wound to right front foot, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Dewana Interest was a late scratching at 6.25pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a toe injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Gunsblaze and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 5.43pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer T.  Clarke was fined the sum of $100.
