Steward's Report
Paua Hiking and Malady Aubrey were quick to begin. Sam Whelan, Corless and Nero Rose were slow to begin. Paua Hiking and Californa Levo collided soon after the start checking Californa Levo and Johnny Wolf. Californa Levo was checked off Corless on the first turn. Corless crossed to the outside on the first turn checking Nero Rose. Nero Rose and Californa Levo collided approaching the home turn checking Californa Levo.

Top Shot Jack trialled over 315 metres from box 1, weight 33.1kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.41 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.25 lengths. Top Shot Jack was cleared
Satisfactory trial results (GAR 77A):- Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Cook the trainer of Master McEvoy regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Master McEvoy last raced on 08/07/16. Mr. Cook stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a fractured right hind leg. Pursuant to GAR 77A Master McEvoy trialled over 315 metres from box 7, weight 35.8kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.41 secs, the greyhound won by a margin of 5.25 lengths. Master McEvoy was cleared.
