Bubba's Silvia was a late scratching at 5.20pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37) (fleas).  No stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance before any future nomination will be accepted.

Top Shot Jack trialled over 315 metres from box 1, weight 33.1kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of 4.   The time of the trial was 18.41 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of  5.25 lengths.  Top Shot Jack was cleared

Satisfactory trial results (GAR 77A):- Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Cook the trainer of Master McEvoy regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Master McEvoy last raced on 08/07/16.  Mr. Cook stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a fractured right hind leg.  Pursuant to GAR 77A Master McEvoy trialled over 315 metres from box 7, weight 35.8kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.41 secs, the greyhound won by a margin of 5.25 lengths.  Master McEvoy was cleared.
