Lithgow Panther and Spring Trail collided soon after the start. Full On Bling and Come On Fantasy collided approaching the first turn. Full On Bling, Come On Fantasy and Sally Gardens collided on the first turn checking Come On Fantasy. Dzeko checked off Julie Bale approaching the second turn. Dzeko faltered entering the front straight and pulled up. Julie Bale and Spring Trail collided on the fifth turn.
Dzeko was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture to the right hock, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.
