Steward's Report
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Bin Bon Bay, which is a reserve in this event on Wednesday 2nd November 2015 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Cairnlea Lewis and Djarragun were quick to begin. Ma Ma Marty and Trav Cee were slow to begin. Lektra Turbo was very slow to begin (5 Lengths). Cairnlea Lewis and Oddball Quick collided soon after the start. Gold Bro, Cairnlea Lewis and Oddball Quick collided approaching the first turn, checking Cairnlea Lewis, which collided with Ma Ma Marty. Ma Ma Marty checked off Oddball Quick approaching the first turn. Lektra Turbo galloped on the heels of Trav Cee approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Lektra Turbo and Trav Cee collided approaching the home turn. Ma Ma Marty and Djarragun collided approaching the winning post.
It was noted that the bib of handler G.Mckenna (Ma Ma Marty) became entangled in the rear sliding door of the boxes as he was loading the greyhound into the boxes.
Lektra Turbo was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
A sample was taken from Gold Bro - the winner of the event.
