Carlanna Jobe stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin. Dark Tantra and Lektra Allan were slow to begin. Rocksferry Road and Katie Riot collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Marmish and Marmion Star collided approaching the first turn. Gelwix crossed to the outside approaching the first turn, checking Marmish, Rocksferry Road and Katie Riot. Gelwix and Marmion Star collided on the first turn. Carlanna Jobe brushed the running rail approaching the home turn. Carlanna Jobe and Marmish collided approaching the home turn, checking Carlanna Jobe, Marmish and Katie Riot.
