Mepunga Fame and Lil Tay were quick to begin. Yessa was slow to begin. Massive Com, He Ain't Sweet and Spring Saviour collided approaching the first turn, checking He Ain't Sweet and Massive Com. Massive Com and Spring Saviour collided on the first turn, checking Spring Saviour. Lil Tay and Greysynd Hawk collided on the first turn, checking Greysynd Hawk. Greysynd Hawk checked off Lil Tay approaching the home turn. Lil Tay and Yessa raced wide in the home straight.
Stewards noted that the bandage on Massive Com became dislodged in the home straight.
Yessa was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
