Stewards spoke to G Bumpstead, the trainer of Ava's Girl regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing and reminded him of his responsibilities.
Ava's Girl crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Rangler Bale, Little Makril and Yahbini Bale. Yahbini Bale and Ava's Girl collided approaching the first turn. Fabulous Mac checked off Ava's Girl approaching the first turn. Little Makril and Ava's Girl approaching the home turn, checking Ava's Girl. Little Makril checked off Renegade Rebel on the home turn. Rangler Bale raced wide on the home turn. Yahbini Bale raced wide in the home straight.
