Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Lioness Lulu.
From The Dark was slow to begin. Sisco Wander and Lady Isabella collided approaching the first turn checking Sisco Wander. Lady Isabella and From The Dark collided on the first turn checking From The Dark. Lady Isabella and From The Dark collided on the second turn checking From The Dark. Bashir and Shout Out Loud collided on the second turn checking Bashir. Lady Isabella raced wide in the back straight. Gunnewin and Just A Dot collided in the back straight and again on the third turn checking Gunnewin. Bashir and From The Dark collided entering the home straight checking Bashir.
Gunnewin was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. B. Brown, the handler of Gunnewin regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the first turn.
Stewards spoke to the Judge's regarding the time recorded for this event. Due to a timing malfunction the incorrect time was semaphored. The event was hand timed and amended to 37.90.
