Capel Sound checked off Phoebe Allen approaching the home turn.
July Allen and Make It Happen collided several times in the home straight, checking both greyhounds.
Woodleight Blue was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr Gregory Graham, the trainer of Woodleigh Blue regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the first turn.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Denis Baker regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Capel Sound.Stewards directed that Capel Sound be boxed first in future events.
